Large cicada bug made of solid brass with a beautiful plated finish and a locket hidden on the reverse side!

Nice detail on this 2" bug that is made with vintage molds that are nearly 100 years old.
A truly unique necklace. You can see this same cicada in jewelry and accessories from way back in the 1920's.

The locket is also brass and in a tear drop shape. It can hold a special sentiment or tiny image. The locket measures 1" by 1/2". The inside measures 1/2" by 1/4". These are vintage lockets made in the 1970's and used now for the first time.

Cicadas, for many, represent personal change, renewal, rebirth, and transformation.
