So, again, another animal I totally love has turned into knitted form. I adore elephants, they're so big and beautiful, majestic and elegant, but mainly I think I would love to have a trunk myself. I mean, think about it! How much more could we all get done if we had trunks? But, this is coming from the person who really wants a second set of arms so she can knit more...

Meet Esther the Eccentric Elephant! This new knitting pattern from Danger Crafts will show you how to knit Esther, the cutie pie Elephant. Esther is a fast, super satisfying project that knits up easily on many yarn/needle combinations. Since it doesn't take much yarn to knit an Esther, this is a great stash busting project for all those times you've bought just 1 or 2 balls because something was pretty. Just like elephants themselves, this pattern is very fun and once you knit one Esther, you will find you want to knit an entire Elephant family!
