This open edition print is a reproduction of a water colour illustration from my children’s book “White is the Moon”. The owl is a European Eagle Owl which is so fierce and strong it is capable of killing a fox by crushing its skull with its huge powerful feet. Small dog walkers beware!

The overall print/paper size is 11.6 inches by 8.2 inches ( A4 size paper), which includes the image plus a narrow white border suitable for framing. The actual image size is 9 inches by 6.50 inches apron.. I have used archival, acid and lignin free 100% cotton paper and Canon Chromalife 100 plus inks with enhanced longevity. The copyright notice will not show up on your print.

I take great care with all my prints and always make sure that they are well protected by several layers to prevent damage in transit. The print will also be protected by a transparent sleeve and will come flat packed between envelope stiffeners, in a lightweight but durable envelope.

I am delighted with this gorgeous print. I was quite taken aback when it arrived because the image itself is even more beautiful than it appears on the website. The detail, colours and overall quality of the print are superb. It arrived perfectly packaged and came with a lovely handwritten note. The image of the fox and the owl has a magical quality or 'atmosphere' to it which I can't describe in words. It's like they share a secret which we won't find out. Each of Valerie's pictures seems to have a story about it. This is the 4th print I have bought from Valerie and I've already come back and bought two more!
