Mom was a Girl Scout for more than fifty years, from Brownie to National Volunteer. She often played her guitar and sang at camp, and this was one of her favorite songbooks. It was published in 1974 by the Scouts’ Our Chalet in Switzerland, and is introduced by a note from Lady Baden-Powell. It contains songs from many countries, from Scandinavia to Africa and the Middle East. You’ll find some old favorites and some new songs you’ve never heard.
