In the provinces, and some of the earlier literature, they are referred to as “FarieDragons”. Research has found them to have very little in common with the Fae-Folk from a biological standpoint, but they often share the same habitat, and interact on a regular basis. This scarlet peacock dragonfly with copper eyes is part of our dragonflies series. Each dragonfly body is an original design by the artist Thomas Davies and is made from resin and powdered marble. The wings are paper over wire infused with acrylic medium. Each is hand finished with a variety of paints. This figure is approximately 13 inches high and 10 inches wide, depending on antenna and wing positioning. (Horizontal: 16 inches long and 14 inches wide)
