You've heard that red wine is good for you. The resveratrol molecule is one of the reasons.
Resveratrol is found in the skin of grapes, so it's present in red wine but not white wine. Its concentrations are particularly high in pinot noir grapes.
In mice, resveratrol has anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties. It lowers blood sugar and blood pressure. And it can even extend life. That none of this has quite been proven in people, yet, is no reason not to enjoy a glass of a nice, bold zinfandel.
This necklace is based on the resveratrol molecule. The pendant is sterling silver and about 2 inches (5cm) long. From this dangles a beautiful, high-quality faceted garnet, about .5 in making the entire pendant about 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) long. It is attached to a chain adjustable in length to about 18 inches. Please let me know if you'd like a different length. You can choose either a link chain or snake chain option.
The necklace has an elegant, festive feel. It would be wonderful at holiday cocktail parties or wine tastings. The hanging garnet looks like a drop of a fine red.
I wore one to a wine tasting recently, where it prompted so many ooohhs and aaahhs!
It comes in a pretty, recycled gift box with a little card about resveratrol. Perfect for gifting to any wine enthusiast!
Matching earrings are also available!
