These are just about the simplest chunky elf and beanie hat patterns you can find. I have written both patterns in a straight forward manner and, best yet, the finished products make amazing photography props.

Sizing is given for newborn to 12 months. The minimum skills required is:
-- know how to knit with circular needles (optional)
-- knitting with double pointed needles
-- the ability to make an I-cord.

The materials required for both patterns are:
-- super chunky yarn (approx. 2 stitches per inch)
-- 12mm circular needles (optional)
-- 4 12mm double pointed needles
-- yarn needle
