The Cannabis plant has co-evolved with humans for thousands of years. Used recreationally, religiously or medicinally, it has established close relationships with countless people.

THC is the main psycho-active chemical in cannabis. In our brains, it reacts with the anandamide receptor and makes us feel relaxed and euphoric. Medicinally, it is used to ease pain, reduce nausea, and stimulate appetite.

This necklace features a pendant based on the molecular structure of THC. It is almost 2 inches wide and is made of recycled/reclaimed sterling silver. It is attached to a sterling silver chunky link chain with a lobster clasp. The total length of the necklace is about 20 inches and it can be clasped at different links for shorter adjustments. Please let me know if you'd like a different length.

The necklace shown in the photos has been oxidized to give it a worn feel. This necklace can also be ordered shiny, without oxidation treatment. (Shown in the fourth photo.) Please let me know that you'd like the shiny version; otherwise, I will assume you'll like the oxidized one.

It comes in a gift box made of recycled paper and with a small tag that has information about THC. Perfect for a gift!

Most of my jewelry is high quality, solid sterling silver. It is specially formulated to resist tarnish, but, like all silver, will tarnish. You can minimize oxidation by storing silver jewelry in a bag or box away from air and heat. Regularly wearing the jewelry can help rub off tarnish. I allow the silver serotonin necklace I wear daily to develop a bit of a patina. It's OK to wear your sterling silver jewelry in the shower.

Your order will come packaged in a cute, recycled paper gift box with a little card explaining what the molecule represents. I tie it with a ribbon, making a pretty package for gifting - no addition wrapping required.

This is absolutely gorgeous! The molecule is fabulous and true representation. The chain is such a perfect choice to go with the pendant. The designer Raven was a delight to deal with and very helpful. The packaging was great and delivery was timely!

I actually bought 2 of these exact necklaces before, the shiny one for me and the oxidized one for my brother, 8 years ago. The chain recently broke on mine ( I never take it off) and I lost it. I was so sad, I had to buy a new one and I'm still as in love with it as I was the first one. Extremely well made, unique, and fast delivery. Molecular Muse is the best!!
