From 1922 to the present, the Hollywood Bowl has been a Southern California cultural icon with its “Concerts Under the Stars”. Musical excellence has been a long tradition. For many years it was the summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and since 1991 has been the home of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. This tradition continues with classical symphonies and concert performances by legendary artists of Jazz, Popular and Country Music fame. ON SALE is this matted print of a matchbook from a Christmas Concert circa 1946. It shows all sides of the matchbook including the original Hollywood Bowl Shell. In the background are the moon and stars. I made this print with the OK of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and wish to thank them. It shows an important aspect of Los Angeles history. It comes with a 11" x 14" white mat that fits standard frames. (The words "Matchbook Memories" do not appear in the print)

STYLE VARIATIONS:
**Also available is a larger print on large heavy photo paper. The image is 11 x 15 inches. It has a small white margin and No mat is included.
