I was wandering around the plethora of lovely old antique shops in the beautiful Spa town of Ashbourne, near my home in Derbyshire recently when I had a heart stopping moment (heart stopping for me, not for normal people!) I came across an exquisitely beautiful old book of music. It was hidden away in a dusty corner, broken spine and loose pages, feeling very sorry for its self. The book is called 'The Globe Song Folio' and is dated 1909. Charmingly, it states on the front "The most popular collection of songs ever published in the British Empire, still retaining undiminished favour"
The lovely thick pages have been punched into 2" hearts and stitched in a triple layer of twirling vintage gorgeousness. Leave the hearts flat or open them up for the full on 3D effect. Hang from a peg, a tree, in a doorway or window, or perhaps from a mantle or bedpost or just plain and simple on a wall. A perfect gift for a musician or music lover!
This string of hearts measures approx. 40" it has a 3D paper bead at the bottom and has pure Hungarian Hemp twine ties at the top. Ready to hang or give as a truly unique gift. The hearts will be mailed flat but are very easy to open
