The Alassë Míriel Hooded Cowl Pattern

Beautiful Victorian-styled hooded cowl pattern is all in one piece and has a high ribbon-laced turtle-neck collar and a generous hood that sweeps the shoulders. It stays up on its own but for windy days you can use a hairpin to secure it without losing the silhouette.
The materials required are:
2½ skeins of Lion-Brand Wool-Ease worsted weight yarn
or just under 500 yards any other worsted weight yarn
1½ yard 5/8” - 1” wide satin ribbon
Pair of 32” or longer 5mm (US size 8) circular knitting needles for magic loop method
or DPNs
Extra needle or crochet hook for 3-needle bind off method
(you can also just cast off and seam if you don’t wish to use this method)
