• Contact with water: Not a great idea. But, it is unlikely to do any lasting damage. Just make sure to dry it after.

• Swimming Pool: Chlorine is a harsh chemical, so if you accidentally forget to remove your jewelry before taking a dip, make sure to rinse and clean it well afterward.

• Contact with sweat: Chemicals in our bodily fluids accelerates the tarnish process of sterling silver and may leave colored marks on the skin. The best thing to do is to rinse and dry your jewelry.

• Chemicals in lotions and perfumes can also cause silver jewelry to tarnish.

• Hot Tub: The same idea as the swimming pool, but there's even more chlorine in the hot tub and the heat can accelerate the chemical reaction.

My son loves this necklace I got for him for his 16th birthday! He had picked it out months ago because he loves wolves! The quality of the pendent is amazing! Only issue we had was the chain broke but this quality pendant would look good on any chain or leather!
