My best friend is terrified of birds...which I think is hilarious. Needless to say, I tend to get really excited about trips to the beach or the zoo where encounters with aggressive birds are much more likely. The paper vellum doesn't completely obscure the background so, while an inexpensive sheet of printer paper will easily achieve a classic look; you can use any color, pattern or material you want.
