PDF pattern instructions to make this fitted, lined, padded "Claire" cover with zipper. Beautiful yet super simple to construct case for your eReader!
***This listing is for a SEWING PATTERN only, photos of finished items are examples only and are not included. THIS IS NOT A FINISHED BAG FOR SALE***
Super fast and simple construction. Great for gifts, boutique or sell your own creations on Etsy!
The pattern for this set of instructions will fit iPad Mini, Kindle (except DX), Nook, Nook Color, Sony eReader, Kobo Reader, or any device up to 8" x 5" x 1/2". Instructions are included to adjust the pattern for some of the new smaller eReader models. If your eReader is 8.1" x 5" x 1/2" OR SMALLER, this pattern will fit.
The case is fitted, so it is designed to protect and enhance an uncovered device.
If you have never installed a zipper, no problem! The method used is extremely easy. If you can sew a straight line, you can make this cover. The inside is fully lined, all seams are enclosed in the finished case and it is fully padded to protect your device. The process is super simple with a professional finished result.
When I got my eReader, the cases at the store were so boring. I wanted to protect my new device, but I wanted it to be beautiful too. This was the first style I designed for my Nook. It is simple, quick to stitch up and feels great in your hand, Slips easily into your purse or briefcase and protects your reader without adding any bulk.

This detailed pattern will take you step-by-step through the construction of the cover. Every step is described and a full color photograph is provided to illustrate the step. No assuptions of skill are made (other than operating your sewing machine!) and each step is brief and logically stated in large print.
I have been sewing for interiors for over 20 years and have attended numerous classes, seminars and other instructional venues. I hope that sharing my experience with you in making beautiful items for your home will give you much pleasure and lessen frustration with trying to 'figure out' how to make an item without instructions.
I also offer sewing tips and brief tutorials on my blog at www.gailadesigns.blogspot.com
