Expressing the “clothiness” of clay, this signature piece is what I call the “gathered planter”. A wheel-thrown rim holds the gathered lace impressed slab of clay in a form of contrasting color and texture. Approximately 8” wide and 6”deep it will comfortably hold most outdoor and indoor plants. It does not have drain holes so that it is safe for indoor use. Plants may be placed directly in the pot as the wide rim provides aeration if not overwatered. The hanging rope is composed of moisture resistant hemp or jute.

Not water permeable (no drain holes).
