So simple and sweet: Initials within a heart - the ultimate in sweetheart devotion.
This personalized wood grain vase makes a unique wedding or anniversary gift.

The wood grain pattern is pressed into the fresh porcelain, and I accentuate the pattern with a black stain that gets in all the grooves. The heart is applied to the top of the pattern, and the letters are glazed by hand. The beautiful white of the porcelain is left unglazed to contrast with the black of the grooves. The interior is glazed in clear - watertight and foodsafe.

Rustic and refined at the same time. This vase looks fantastic with flowers or an arrangement of simple greenery. It also makes a terrific hurricane candle holder - just add a tea light, votive, or small pillar candle for a beautiful glow.

Ideal for a 5th (Wood) or 9th (Pottery) anniversary gift. Or for anyone who is adding rings to their tree of love.
