Here's a hungry-looking White American Wolf; rummaging through the remains of an abandoned campfire and none too happy about it either apparently.
This is a splendid Natural History reprint from 1989, reproducing the very early hand-colored engraving by Wm E. Hitchcock for the Audubon Collection originally printed by J. T. Bowman of Philadelphia, Pa.
'White American Wolf ' is printed on heavy quality satin finish card-paper stock. He measures a generous 10.5" x 12" with ample snowy white borders all around. he's in excellent condition too; no tears, folds, creases, or marks... a fabulous print. He's printed on the backside too, but don't worry; nothing at all shows through.
