This therapy tool will help a child get to grips with sorting by category. There are 5 objects for each of 8 categories, including clothing, toys, animals, tools, etc. Because of the strong visual emphasis this tool is very useful for verbally-challenged children.

Included in the pack are 5 pages:
1 page of picture icons - there are 8 category options with 5 images for each (totalling 40 icons). These are to be cut out and velcro attached.
1 backing page to store the picture icons on.
2 pages of matrix backing grids for working on.
1 page of instructions.
Self-adhesive Velcro squares.

Note: all working pages are laminated for durability.

In order to keep the cost of this pack affordable, the picture icons will be made up by yourself, ie. cut out and velcro attached - velcro is included with full instructions, it's a very simple job that should take an hour or so. If you wish to order the pack fully made up for an extra cost please get in touch and I'll do that for you.

This is so cool! Really an amazing activity that's very reusable because the pieces are laminated. As the item description clearly states, there is some assembly involved. It's just cutting out the pieces and attaching small bits of velcro. The velcro bits are all packaged neatly and everything was really self-explanatory. The lamination somehow adheres strongly to the cards after they are cut (not all lamination will do that). My second purchase from this shop and I will be back again!
