●Bar thickness: gold filled 22gauge, gold vermeil, and fine silver are all 20gauge, about 1mm thick.
Smaller the gauge number, the thicker the sheet metal, for example, the 24 gauge is much thinner than 20 and 22 gauge.
●Chains: gold filled, rose gold filled and sterling silver. NECKLACE LENGTH IS END TO END MEASUREMENT WHICH IS INCLUDE ONE INCH BAR CHARM. NECKLACE ON MODEL IS 16 INCHES END TO END.

The gold/rose gold layer WILL WEAR OFF with time and wear.

Gold filled is NOT COATED OR PLATED. It is constructed in two or three layers. The core metal is jewelers’ brass. A gold alloy is then bonded to one or both surfaces of the brass core with heat and pressure. Unlike plated or coated metals, Gold-filled is legally required to contain 5% or 1/20 gold by weight.
Under normal wearing conditions, and with proper care, gold filled jewelry will last years.
