A delicately detailed, hand modeled Pixie girl--- half bird, half human. Rumour has it she escaped from a circus where she was forced to ride bareback on feral cats. At night her resting place was a locked cage, ostensibly so she couldn't get into typical Pixie mischief. Who could blame her for running away? Though she does have a slightly malevolent stare...
She has a skirt of vintage fabric and lace and wings of beautiful feathers found by me on my many walks in countryside and parks. On her head she wears a tiny fascinator of crushed bottle cap, pearly seashell and grapevine tendrils. On her hat and tail are more lovely feathers and her bird feet are linen cord wrapped around wire. She is articulated at the hips, elbows and shoulders and measures approximately 21 cm. from claw to feather tip by a 19 cm wing span (approximately 8.25" x .7.5 inches). Each pixie shapeshifter is custom made so please allow sufficient time to create your special fae.
