The pattern is drafted from my personal antique corset and I try to be as clear and complete as possible.
I draft all seams, stitches, bone casings, waist tape (if there is one), busk placement, eyelet placement, edge bindings, and embroidery flossing when present.
When drafting, I take note of all details such as bust/waist/hips/length measurements, metallic or natural bones, color and types of material used, number of layers, and seam construction whether standard or flatfelled.
I also include any stamps, writing, or makers marks when they might be present on the original corset.
If you have any questions while attempting to reproduce the corset, I am happy to answer them. I keep the corset on hand and will be able to reference it for you.
