HOW TO USE THIS SET

Start with the highly concentrated Wild Man Beard Wash - use just a few drops to lather up a damp beard. Larger beards may require slightly more product to get a good lather. Massage down to the base of the beard, gently scrubbing skin. Rinse well and dry thoroughly before applying Wild Man Beard Conditioner. This product can be used twice a week to every day depending on hair/skin type. A dry beard will require less washing, an oily beard will require more.

After thoroughly drying, massage a few drops of Wild Man Beard Conditioner into the beard to moisturize dry skin and soften rough hair. Applying to a dry beard maximizes absorption and softening power of this leave-in conditioning oil. Perfect for any form of facial hair from stubbly beard beginnings to knee-length face beast. Start with just 3-4 drops of Beard Conditioner and increase depending on beard length and skin type. Can be used throughout the day and in between washings. A dry beard will require more Beard Conditioner, an oily beard will require less.

Wild Man Beard Cream can be used along with or in lieu of Beard Conditioner. Those with particularly dry or unruly beards will benefit from using these products together. We recommend that all skin types apply Beard Cream at least once a week for deep conditioning and optimum beard health. Rub a pea-sized amount between the palms to melt, then massage into a dry beard down to the roots. As with Beard Conditioner, applying to a dry beard maximizes absorption and softening power of this leave-in conditioning cream. Increase the amount used depending on beard length and skin type. Can be used as a nighttime beard treatment or beard styling balm as well.

Yes! Wild Rose ships to (almost) every corner of the Earth. All international orders will ship via USPS First Class Mail with insurance. Most orders arrive within two to four weeks but can take longer, especially during holidays. Cost of shipping includes insurance should your order become lost in the mail. Loss or damage of an order must be reported between 40-90 days from ship date (yes, in some instances, it really can take 40 days for your order to arrive!). Customs fees vary and are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Items returned for non-payment of customs fees will be refunded less the cost of shipping and fees. PLEASE NOTE: We cannot mark international items as "gifts" or alter the cost of goods.

This means that our products are made from ingredients that can be easily collected or produced with materials found in nature without extreme processing. We mostly use raw plant materials, expeller pressed or steam distilled oils and organic alcohol extracts in our formulas. We do not use anything synthetic or chemically processed to make our products.

GMO stands for "Genetically Modified Organism." GMOs are generally created to withstand heavy pesticide use or, in some cases, produce their own pesticides. GMOs are a threat to sustainable farming through crop contamination and extreme pesticide resistance. Moreover, the long-term effects of GMO use on our land and bodies has not been determined. For these reasons, we refuse to include GMOs in our products.

Our products are handmade with the strictest ethical standards possible. Wild Rose is our response to an economy where the ecological, political and social costs of manufacturing are veiled. We minimize the social, environmental and ethical footprint of our products by choosing sources that are local, non-GMO, sustainably harvested, organic or fair trade. We grow many of the fresh botanicals needed for our recipes in (uncertified) organic permaculture gardens just outside our workshop.
To help offset the inevitable impact of shipping and manufacturing, we make yearly donations to environmental protection and social justice groups. In this way, we hope to set a precedent through steadfast ethics and transparent business practices.

We use organic ingredients whenever possible, but no, our finished products are not certified organic. Some ingredients are obtained from small, no-spray farms or our own (uncertified organic) permaculture gardens. Some ingredients are not available through a trustworthy organic source so we opt for all natural, pesticide-free and minimally processed ingredients whenever possible. However, we're always looking for new and better organic suppliers. All organic ingredients are listed with an asterisk (*).

We understand that smellovision is not a thing and choosing a scent can be difficult. We offer sampler sets for many of our products and encourage shoppers to buy small to start (our products last a long time anyway!).
