These small hoop earrings are handmade by me from 20 gauge *argentium silver. I hammered the hoops for added depth, giving them a great textured look.

Each pair is individually made, so there will be variations from one pair to the next, this means that you will have a pair made just for you.

They are approximately 18mm or 11/16ths of an inch in length, and lightweight as well.

*Argentium silver is a purer form of sterling silver, and is more tarnish resistant than regular sterling silver. It's made from recycled silver, so it's more sustainable and eco-friendly.

Jewelry made from precious metals (particularly silver) may tarnish with time, this is completely normal, and doesn’t mean the piece is defective.

To keep your jewelry looking new, gently rub with a polishing cloth, or simply wash with soap and water.

I recommend avoiding contact with lotions, perfumes, or sprays. Remove jewelry before entering a pool or hot tub, as the chemicals can cause jewelry to discolour or tarnish.

If your jewelry becomes very tarnished, toothpaste can be used to clean your jewelry as well.

Gold fill is composed of a solid layer of 14 karat gold bonded with heat and pressure to brass. Strict regulations govern the process mandating the gold must make up a minimum 1/20 of the total weight of the piece. Gold-filled items are 50 to 100,000 times thicker than regular gold plating. So everything that touches your skin is 14K Gold.

The tiny hoops really are tiny. I planned to keep them for myself but after playing with the closures for a while, I realized I'd not be able to put them in or remove them, so I'm giving them as a solstice gift to a young person. I wish there was a better closure. One that's easy to open and close, and won't fall out of your ears. Some friends are working with magnetic closures for their products and that seems to be a good option. Anyway, it's a lovely product made with care and good quality materials.
