Vintage c. 1950s two tiered sterling silver and clear rhinestone brooch by Jay Flex of Montreal, Canada.

Jay Flex is perhaps best known for being the costume jewellery firm that Gustav Sherman worked at before founding his own company.

The first tier consists of 19 brilliant round and teardrop shaped rhinestones arranged in a circle.

The second tier around it is in a starburst / snowflake shape and consists of 56 round and teardrop rhinestones. Four of the teardrop shaped stones are discolored / darkened.

The entire piece retains all of its original rhodium plating.
