As you wish, this is a customizable - not a customized - pattern. Your PDF files will include:

1) Basic cross stitching directions to help you understand how to complete the pattern (including some help with some of our more advanced stitches like the Lazy Daisy).

2) The 2-page pattern for the sampler itself, excluding names and date, with black and white symbols and colored lines for backstitching.

3) An info sheet detailing the DMC #s needed, and additional instructions for recreating the original sampler's look and feel.

4) A third file with instructions for creating the lettering for the names and date for your needs. The entire alphabet is provided for the names of the betrothed, as are charts for the names of the months. We don't provide the exact pattern for your names/dates - you will need to use the instructions provided.

5) 2 additional sheets with alternate pattern options for same-sex mawwiages.

This is probably not a pattern for beginners (see our other designs!) - but more intermediate/advanced stitchers will have fun storming the sampler.

Pattern is in color with symbols, with legend to DMC colors.
Design area of final sampler is w6" x h4.1" on 16 count cotton aida cloth, perfect for framing in a 5"x7" frame.

Great pattern, easy to follow. I appreciate the written notes ahead of the pattern itself, it made some things much easier, and even though I goofed in some areas because I may not have been the best reader (oops), the pattern was well enough designed to make up for it.
