**DESCRIPTION**
This drawing is inspired by my love for the works of M.C. Escher, and based on a certain intersection in my city of Montréal, which is populated by a concentration of half a dozen carpet stores in less than two blocks. In my mind's eye, I envision the carpets breaking free from the store fronts, bursting and transforming into a flood of butterflies: the city is ultimately overtaken by nature.
