I would consider John Landis's THE BLUES BROTHERS one of my favorites comedy/road trip/musical/action mash-ups, with Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, and a slew of talented co-stars delivering as many laugh-out-loud moments as they do sing-a-long music numbers.

In the film, the duo reunites their sizable backing band for one big show to save the orphanage where they grew up. My original gig poster marks this event with a vertically striped background (evoking the jail cell the brothers will later wind up in) and their classic dancing figures in the center, rendered in powder blue and cobalt with a light texture.
