Making pastillas de leche is a long, laborious process. It requires hours on the stove top and frequent stirring. After it has cooled, the candy is portioned, shaped, rolled in sugar, and individually wrapped in unbleached parchment paper.
One order includes a one pound box of vanilla pastillas de leche.
These are best consumed within 3 weeks.
