By popular request...I have written a PDF sewing pattern so that you can create your own casserole carriers, similar to the ones I carry in my Etsy shop!
Directions are modified from the instructions given to me by my aunt Ellie. I've expanded and adapted them, and now YOU can learn to make these wonderful casserole cozies. The 15-page pattern is written in a tutorial style, with PLENTY of clear photos showing each step in the process. You will be able to zoom in on the pictures on your computer, if you want to see details even more clearly. Examples of the photos are shown in this listing. The text includes tips and options. An intermediate level sewist can make one in a matter of 2 - 3 hours, even the first time.
Casserole carriers are wonderful gifts, washable, and easy to store. Friends and family will love them, and you'll create a sensation when you arrive at a party or potluck dinner with your favorite dish tucked inside.
The finished carrier fits a round or oval casserole dish, a pie plate, or even a cake pan! It measures about 21 1/2" square when lying flat.
THIS LISTING IS FOR A PATTERN, NOT THE FINISHED CASSEROLE CARRIER! If you check my other listings, you will find finished carriers for sale. If you have a special request, contact me...I would love to sew something just for you!
The PDF file will be available to DOWNLOAD as soon as you buy it. Follow the directions you receive after purchasing the patten, to access the PDF file. International shoppers are welcome!
{If you would prefer to have a printed copy mailed to you, please contact me. There would be a slight additional charge for printing and shipping.}
