Located just north of the geographic center of Minnesota, the Whitefish Chain of Lakes near Brainerd symbolize what "lake country" means. If you're a Minnesotan and you don't own a piece of lakefront property on or near these lakes, then you either know someone who does, or you've spent a week at one of the resorts that pepper the beaches. It's the perfect, peaceful get-away location for the city folks, and it still maintains enough rustic nostalgia and good fishing to appease the locals.

This is an original, layered papercut piece, handmade in Minnesota, in your choice of color (this one is in a deliciously rich set of Royal blues), and featuring the beautiful Whitefish Chain of Lakes.

This unique piece is intricately cut from five layers of high quality, acid-free cardstock. The top layer is a bright white, while the layers underneath are in ever-darker shades of color. Because this piece is handmade, it will differ very slightly from piece pictured here. The back is titled, signed and dated as an original piece.

The work measures 8 x 10 inches (about 20 x 25 cm), and is about 1/8" thick. It will be sent to you carefully wrapped and supported to ensure it arrives safely.

Very fast service. I ordered late evening of Thursday, received Tuesday. I offered to pay extra to get it in time for Thanksgiving.
