Handcrafted out of Hickory, this yarn swift has adjustable peg positions to fit any size skein, even the new MINI skeins. It can hold a skein as small as 14 inches around or as large as 65 inches around, very versatile. This yarn swift collapses into a neat little package with storage units for the pegs underneath. Easy to transport with just the twist of a wing nut. Comes with 4 wooden pegs, an "end friend" (see description below) and is built with a steel ball bearing for generations of service. 24 inches in diameter when set up and 24 by 24 x 4 x 1 when collapsed for storage. Hickory wood color can range from a very light yellow color to a light or medium brown with an occasional brown knot.

The pegs are made of Poplar wood and the color may range from a light yellow color to a light brown color and occasional green streak.

The End Friend is a small peg to tie the yarn end that is opposite the end on the ball winder. This ensures that the other loose end does not get tangled as it spins around. Simply tie an over hand knot to the notch and plug it into a suitable peg hole that is in the center of the skein not being used.
