Arcadian Cottage is brought to life by master furniture craftsman, Christopher McGean. He has over 20 years of experience in his field. A native of Washington D.C., Christopher began his career selling hand crafted pieces at the D.C. Historic Eastern Market. Inspired by trips to New Hampshire and Vermont, he began to make furnishings that reflected Yankee designs of yesteryear. Through moves to Maui and Napa Valley, he continued his trade before settling in Phoenix in 1999. There he began an apprenticeship with a master furniture maker from Poland. Upon completing his apprenticeship, Christopher began mixing Yankee designs with that of the Old World while using Colonial skills and European techniques to produce original high end furnishings. His designs represent the utmost in quality and will stand the test of time.
