Blue Petyl began with a concept to create unique alternative arrangements for weddings, proms, and other special occasions. Our bouquets feature buttons, brooches, jewelry, and silk flowers. Our mission is to offer a compelling alternative to fresh floral bouquets. Every bouquet we create is unique, highly detailed, and beautiful.

Blue Petyl is a wife-and-husband team (Wini & Joe) in San Diego, California. We share a unique love story that crosses two languages, three continents, long distances, and impossible odds. Joe is a technophile with a corporate accounting background. Wini comes from a small mountain village high in the Andes, full of pride and tradition.

We decided to share our lives together: we learned to speak each other’s languages, we lived in each other’s countries, and we respect each other’s customs. We are now raising two beautiful children who are comfortable in both worlds. Our experience has taught us that life is beautiful, and to always expect the unexpected.

And so, we believe in taking leaps of faith. And that dreams are meant to be followed. We honor our traditions, (and break them when necessary). We know that life will bring “hiccups” along the way. And while the conclusion is never certain, we trust that things will work out.
