I learned the art of weaving from two different women in
1973 - and since then that has been my life's work. The
craft of turning yarn into fabric is a multiple step process;
when it is complete you have a scarf, a rug, a throw or
yardage to make into a garment. Using different colors,
fibers and textures influences the final result - and this is
infinite in variation.

My studio is in an old church. I weave wool rugs and finer
fabrics from all natural fibers. I love weaving scarfs - in a
smaller format it is a challenge to see what can be created
in the way of pattern, color interplay, and/or texture. Scarves
are a practical accessory and also a fashion expression for
an individual.
