I, Lisa McGown, spent most of my life in the Deep South and have learned to appreciate college rivalries, well decorated homes, and functional art, while having a good time with all three.

Garland and Grace, LLC was created in my mind when I had a personal need. I have a daughter that loves to wear bows, and a mom that loves to buy bows. I was faced with the challenge of finding a place to organize all of her beautiful bows. I thought it would be great if she had a bow holder, but I had no idea where to get one. After searching on the internet, I knew I had to create one myself. Not because I couldn't find any, but because I was inspired by the ones I found. I have been painting most of my life, purely for the fun of it. It is a blessing to be able to do something I love and share it with others.

Why the name Garland and Grace? I chose the name to reflect my products. With a Thesaurus in hand, and through process of elimination, the name Garland and Grace was born. Garland represents something hung and grace represents style, tastefulness, beauty, embellishment, decoration, and loveliness. Southern style of course.

I am beginning by offering hand painted hair bow holders that can reflect each individual's personality with a name, initial, or the colors of a favorite college. I love custom orders. Please let me know if you would like a different initial, color or size. I cherish my customers, and I am here to please.

For the upcoming holiday season, I will be offering decorative seasonal signs and Christmas Tree ornaments, so be sure to visit my site in the near future.

Careful time and attention is given to each work of art. Each item is hand painted with top quality paint and backed with felt to prevent damage to walls and doors. Since each item is handmade, expect variations and an occasional fingerprint.
