Hi! My name is Joy Bellamy. I have always enjoyed nature and art. I majored in art at Hiram College. I taught art for 32 years, and have been creating functional wheel thrown pottery all the while. My largest project was the creation and production of commemorative crocks and ornaments for my church's 150th anniversary celebration. That project ignited the fire to take my pottery to an entirely new level and pursue the possibilities of marketing on a much grander scale. I now sell at Authentiques and the Cabin at Willow Hollow in Bucyrus, Ohio. My son coined the name "Riverware Pottery" for my now rising business because of the great influence rivers and nature have had on my life. I grew up on River Wood Farm, I taught at River Valley Local Schools,and I lived back in the woods beside the Sandusky River.
