Our names are Julie Huffman and Jenavieve Brown and we are ShopGibberish, a mother/daughter team from Los Angeles. Julie teaches high school chemistry as a full time occupation and loves working with both high achieving and struggling students! She is busy as well as a department chair at her school, and is helping to usher in the Next Generation Science Standards. She also teaches a University class that is designed to help future teachers become AMAZING teachers of science! Since her everyday life of science is a bit crazy, her role in the shop has become that of helping to design new products and helping out where she can. Jenavieve has been doing art and crafting since she was a wee tot and she spends most of her free-time doing anything and everything creative! She sold her first painting when she was 13 years old and attended Saturday High art classes at Pasadena Art Center while she was in high school. She recently received her bachelor's degree from UC Santa Cruz (go Banana Slugs!) and is now a full-time Gibberish employee, living in Los Angeles! Jen is the one creating almost all of our handmade products and making sure things run smoothly!
We love making one-of-a-kind, original geeky gifts for people all over the world, and we want to thank all of our loyal and new customers. Have fun checking out all of our fun products!
