I enjoy presenting my slightly off center view of the world through my digital illustration. Receiving a BFA in Painting and Drawing I ventured into the world of commercial illustration using the traditional tools of airbrush, color pencils and scratch board. They were replaced by a computer and the natural media software "Painter" 20+ years ago and it has become my primary tool for creating "digital woodcuts" to date. I've had the privilege of working for clients in the advertising, design, publishing, editorial and corporate fields and for companies such as American Airlines, Workman Publishing, The New York Times, The ASPCA and Warner Brothers. I particularly enjoy having someone discover an image of mine that brings a smile or creates a bit of mystery that ultimately finds a place of importance in their home or office. As usual, no electrons are harmed in the process.
