Every order from our shop is hand made and hand packed by the two of us and we take great pride in the organic skin goodies we've produced. We design all of our products from scratch and test them on ourselves (and friends and family). We do not use any 'cosmetic bases' for our items.

With EmpireSquid Organics we've created the type of company we'd love to find as consumers. We focus on quality, wholesome ingredients without trying to hide any unhealthful, artificial crap; strive to go out of our way to satisfy our customers; and try to leave as green of a company footprint as we can upon our Mother Earth.

The impetus for the husband and I mixing our first batch of organic oils and butters was the lack of reasonably priced skin products made entirely from healthful, wholesome ingredients. This dearth of naturally sourced skin products led us to begin searching, researching, and experimenting with various combinations of natural oils and butters ourselves.

Since we've both had typical skin imperfections from childhood to young adulthood, ranging from very dry skin to oily skin and acne issues, it was important for us to create skincare that was not only natural, but effective as well.

We began our search looking for that perfect combination of organic ingredients for our skin and we've come to love the creating process itself, and found that there really is no single perfect combination, but a seemingly endless array of possibilities, and variations. The perfect fit will, of course, depend on the person and the need (and even the weather!), and so we are constantly finding new all natural ingredients to incorporate into our line while creating new potions and lotions as well as tweaking old ones.
