Welcome to Folk Owl! I grew up with my twin sister on the edge of an enchanted wood. We spent our days building camps, fires and bridges, from fallen branches and bundles of twigs. Now I have children of my own, and my family currently lives by the sea, in a town famous for it's oysters and the Hammer Horror actor Peter Cushing. I studied English Literature, but after graduating I began making art from papier mache. Now I love to spend my time making Felt and handmade items, from recycled, found and vintage materials; to adorn the elemental beings sharing this precious planet with me. I'm inspired by Victorian Faeries and the whispering of the leaves in the wind. The name of my Etsy shop came from a tapestry of a Folk Owl I produced for my Grandma when I was a wee wisp! Angelaxo
