Hi everyone!

My name is Jennifer and Green Earth Goodies is my handmade business focused on upcycled, recycled and eco-friendly gifts and photography. I recently left a corporate road warrior position in the natural/organic products industry so that I could pursue my artwork full-time and couldn't be happier!

With handmade goods, it's my goal to encourage people to gift green with upcycled, recycled and repurposed goodies. I love to look at an item destined for the recycling bin or trash and think about how I can give it a second life or turn it into art. I'm a big supporter of my local thrift stores and I have partnered up with a local health food store and take packing materials, unused labels and old magazines destined for the trash off their hands. Not only is it good for the earth, but helps to lower overall operating costs which means that your purchase allows you to be green and save green!

Some fun facts about me: I grew up in CT, spent time in NYC and now call the Rocky Mountains home (good thing I love the snow and cool, crisp weather); I love to laugh and do so often and with reckless abandon - I'm known to throw my head all the way back and let out a good belly laugh regardless of where I am; my wonderful husband is often the source of said laughter; we have 3 dogs who have unbelievable personalities, quirky traits as well as alter egos (I'm entirely convinced of that!); when I'm not crafting or shooting pics, I'm cooking or baking as I see it as a whole other creative process; I love reading memoirs and blogs of ordinary people trying to maneuver life and its challenges with a sense of humor; and while I'd love to have a small homestead one day with chickens, goats and a donkey or two, I'm still just trying to learn how to garden in this high-altitude, predator-living mountainous terrain...a girl can dream, right?

Although I care deeply about the environment, I make a concerted effort not to be preachy or self-righteous. I'm just doing my part to lessen my impact and hope I can help you to tread lighter on the Earth too.
