Hi, I'm Myra. I'm no Bobbi Brown or Mary Kay Ash (yet), but I offer an amazing line of natural beauty cosmetics - a healthy alternative to commercial brands.

I've been crafting makeup for a long time; about 10 years ago my craft became a business. In 2007, I had the unique privilege of appearing on the Oprah Winfrey Show as a finalist in her search for the next big idea - 2009 I sold my business AND NOW I'm here on Etsy to cater to my favorite group of people, savvy Etsy shoppers who appreciate all the goes into making anything handmade.

People always ask me, "How do you make makeup?", now that's a loaded question - Sometimes feel like I was born mixing makeup but the truth is, I learned how to craft makeup under the guidance of my grandmother (abuela) in Puerto Rico. I grew up in an environment where everything we needed could be gotten from the backyard, literally - including makeup.

My grandmother was a simpler and a spiritualist (santera), who concocted herbal remedies and who was very conscious of her personal appearance - she made her own makeup and beauty products for other women.

When she developed Parkinson's Disease, I became her hands and that's how a bit of her vast knowledge was passed on to me. My grandmother's memory is alive in all my creations which is my way of keeping her legacy alive.

MY PERSONAL CREDO:

TO CREATE my own products. Each of my products is made fresh by hand using no preservatives or alternative preservative when required, no-frills packaging, and using only the best ingredients. I take the guess work about figuring out when to toss a product because I tell you when my products are made and when they should be tossed.

TO COMMIT to buying my ingredients from suppliers who do not engage in animal testing. All my products are tested on women just like you and me..

TO DELIVER only the highest quality products that are sure to make you feel good about purchasing and using them on a daily basis.
