prepping for becoming a mommy one day, i decided to go out on my own and leave the corporate side of fashion (patagonia, esprit, skechers, tehama...). i toyed with beads and became addicted. my style is always changing with the times and moods and now it is geared toward being "green". i love the idea of using old things to create new treasures. why use something new if we can use what we already have on this planet? so, i try to find special pieces here and there to create fun things to share. my goal in jewelry making is to adorn my clients with pieces that "make the outfit". i want you to get compliments every time you wear my creatons. compliments make us happy and feel good so why not encourage them with jaala jewels?

now i am a mother and wife of 3 happy, healthy adorable boys (yes, my husband is still a boy too... oh, and a girly poodle named twiggy). this job works well for me but keeps me very busy during naps and nights.

i sell my jewelry around denver at small shows and markets. i also have lots of visitors at my home for last minute gifts and custom treats. i send an e-mail out once a month to my clients with updates so if you want to join the list, please let me know via a convo.

one of my favorite things to do is venture out with the family in our restored aluminum travel trailer. we defy camping with fine food, wine and the luxuries of a traveling cottage-like trailer. now i know what it's really like to be a "happy camper".
