Jitney's Journeys started as a blog in May 2010 in order to document our crazy adventures in being newlyweds. One year later, my husband was offered a job in Alabama in which he would have opportunities to travel all around the world (that I could tag along on). With that, our blog flourished into stories about our worldwide travel experiences and we began to create products for an official "Jitney's Journeys" shop so that I could still work and be creative. God has been incredibly gracious to us, in both our marriage and Jitney's Journeys, and we're super pumped to run the path He has laid out before us. These days, my Mac is our traveling companion everywhere we venture to and I paint everything I can get my hands on while we're settled in our nest at home.
Even if you decide not to buy anything, we simply hope that you feel inspiration rush through your blood as you gaze through our creations. As we realize that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, we would greatly appreciate it if you do not copy the things we have worked so tediously on to create.
