I'm Lynn Davy, an eccentric English seed bead artist and upcycler who loves to create colourful, original jewellery, silverware windchimes, and quirky handstamped cutlery.
All the handmade items I sell are my own original designs and made by me. Every piece, no matter how simple, is unique and will never be exactly repeated - even my beadwork kits are individually packed so no two are identical - so you can be sure you will never meet someone else wearing your necklace or find your exact windchime in someone else's garden.
My signature jewellery design is a lush fringed 'Garden' collar encrusted with beaded flowers and leaves; I also love to make elaborate necklaces incorporating handmade lampwork glass beads by my favourite bead artists.
Upcycling old cutlery and homewares is one way of keeping these little bits of history out of landfills - they make me smile and I hope they'll do the same for you. Some things I find are too pretty to be repurposed, so you will also find vintage cutlery in my shop, carefully researched and honestly described.

You may have seen one of my designs in many of the major beading magazines on both sides of the Atlantic and there are plenty more projects in the pipeline! I was a semi-finalist in the international Ugly Necklace Contest for four years in a row; in 2009 I had the honour to be their first ever 'international' winner ( http://www.landofodds.com/store/ugly7contest.htm ) and I was runner-up in 2010 too. I took first prize winner in the Crystals class in the 2009 'Jewellery Designer of the Year' contest, and placed first in Crystals and second in both Beyond Beads and Other Finished Jewellery in the British Bead Awards 2009. My big bad beadmaille necklace 'Warrior Rings' was accepted for the 2010 Bead Dreams juried show and later published as a project in Beadwork magazine.
Here is a list of my publications - some of the projects are also available as kits and/or tutorials, and you'll find some of the finished pieces (sometimes even the published originals!) in my shop too. I'm happy to re-make most of them to order, although if they feature one-off artisan beads it may not be possible to duplicate them exactly.
