I am now working in fiber, felted wool and have had great early success with my name and word banners. I am sometimes out of letters so orders can take up to three weeks if I am out of a letter.
Right now the letter is "L" that I am out of.

I am currently Working on new fabric and quilt kits as well as felted accessories and kits.

A bit about me.......
I used to be a textile and product designer but am now doing what I love, making and selling my art.
After 12 years in New York, attending Parsons School of Design and working various design jobs I moved back to VA in 2000, married the man of my dreams, had one amazing son and started painting again.

One day I rediscovered an old textile portfolio with many beautiful hand made patterns from my former textile days and decided to combine them with my paintings to create the mixed media pieces you see here in my ETSY shop. All of a sudden things seemed to start making sense and I finally feel like I am finally making art which is truly me. Most of the work listed here on ETSY are prints on paper and canvas but I occasionally have an original for sale. Please note they sell quickly so I do not always list them on Etsy. This collection has great meaning for me and I hope it will make you as happy and hopeful as it has made me. Let's just say it carried me through a most difficult time in my life, saved me and surprised me in countless ways. I am happy to say that it feels mighty fine to finally find my way.

People have been telling me my art makes them happy and I have to say as corny as that sounds it really makes me happy too. I somehow started making Happy art at a time when I was anything but happy, I was hoping to find it again and thankfully I have.
You never know what is around the corner and for me that keeps me forever hopeful!

I have come full circle and back to my textile roots which feels really good. I did not pursue this, it happened out of the blue which makes it all more meaningful and sweet to me. My first fabric line, LOVE LIVES HERE, is currently in quilt shops across the US and in my ETSY shop as well. I am working on a line of decorative pillows which will premeire January 2014 and currently have a line of bags and headbands made out of my fabric which I will be adding to my shop in September 2013.
