We've been homesteading in Maine for about ten years, now. For at least half of those years, we've raised our own sheep. My husband shears them with great care....he's often asked to shear for others when they see the care and comfort he takes in shearing them kindly. We (the husband, kids, and I) all spin, knit, and crochet the wool we raise.

Environmental responsibility is very important to us. We raise our animals with love and kindness for them, for ourselves, and for the planet. We believe that the kindness and compassion we practice in our shepherding, gardening, and everyday living is evident in our product. We practice everyday to get better at living the peaceful, healthful, and fulfilling venture that is the good life....
