Hi guys! My name is Jenny and I started selling vintage clothing online way back in the olden days of Ebay, which seems like a life time ago! In 2002, I started a blog (Frecklewonder) that was originally used to share shop news but over the years it evolved into so much more: a sort of vintage loving, treasure sharing, chicken keeping, lifestyle-family kind of blog. It was a fun ride, and I loved meeting so many folks and making so many connections and friendships. In October or 2012, after a decade of blogging, I turned in my key and retired from the blogging world. There are things I miss, but I'm relieved to not have to edit images and come up with fresh content daily. I'm happy to have some time back in my day to focus on other things. Like going back to school! I'm in the beginning stages of pursuing a decade long dream of becoming a nurse. How 'bout them apples!
Treasure hunting is in my blood and thrifting is my therapy, so even though I'm no longer blogging, I still hit the estate sales, antique shows and auctions on a weekly basis. I sell locally at an antique store in my tiny downtown town, and that's where most of my finds are available for purchase, but I decided to keep my Etsy shop open so that I can do occasional (maybe seasonal) shop updates to share my finds with vintage lovers with a similar eye for things. I've met so many great people over the years, and I guess this is a small way to stay in touch.
I'm excited to offer a wide variety of vintage items: things to collect, things to wear, things to read, things to give. If there's ever something you're on the hunt for, shoot me an email! I might be able to find it for you.
