Announcement    Largely self-taught, I have dabbled in a variety of mediums. Metalsmith styles (there's fire involved!) quickly became my favorite! I use recycled metals whenever possible & also recycle my metal scraps. I am passionate about keeping my carbon footprint as small as possible & I am constantly looking for ways to reduce & reuse! I strive to create jewelry that is simple, organic (I believe there is perfection in imperfection!), delicate & feminine, yet unique enough to be constantly asked, "Where'd you get that!?"

As a professional social worker I found myself craving a fun, stress-free creative outlet. I began creating jewelry in early 2006 & fell in love! Erica Burns Designs was born shortly after.

I create each piece one at a time, by hand in my home studio (built in 1880!) in beautiful historic downtown Frederick, MD. If you are in the area come by the brick & mortar at 511 N Market St. Frederick, MD.
