I started making clothes and selling them online way back in 2004-2005. I began on Ebay then moved on to Etsy. My shop has had several names but now is pretty set on Frenchie Stiles Clothing Co. Frenchie is a nickname I acquired since I was born and raised in France, and Stiles was a play on the word "styles".
I started out making raver and punk type clothes, slowly moving on to more retro and pinup styles. Who doesn't want to look like a bombshell?
I model most of my clothes and since I'm considered plus size by the garment industry, most of the clothes I make are for the more voluptuous girls among us. Who said bigger girls can't have nice and sexy things? However I can make items in smaller sizes if requested. I also cater to men who wear women's clothing or lingerie. Everyone is welcome!
The future holds many dreams still. I want to expand into lingerie and not just making underwear. I want to offer custom made bras, especially for the unusual sizes women have a hard time finding. Good fit starts with good foundation wear, i.e: underwear.
My designs are usually vintage inspired and I draft my own patterns using methods from vintage sewing and patternmaking books.
